Joanne SigurdsonAlmost 30 years of work in business, as an entrepreneur in building companies and as well as at Senior Executive levels of several private and public organizations, Joanne enjoys an extremely fulfilling career as an Executive Coach helping leaders achieve their personal and professional best.  As a trained and highly skilled communicator Joanne is able to work with busy Executives to quickly establish where they are at in their business career, where they want to go, and what it will take to get them there.

With over 4 years of direct coaching of leaders in organizations ranging in size from $.5 Million to $300,000 Million in sales, Joanne uses a strategic focus to help leaders identify their personal and organizational leadership challenge and opportunities. Having successfully lead several organizations through significant change, there are few leadership challenges that she has not dealt with either within her own organizations or with the leaders she has assisted.

Jenifer BartmanJenifer Bartman, CA, CMC is the lead instructor and author of four certificate courses in the Knowledge Bureau Master Financial Advisor Designation Program in succession and business planning and five certificate courses in the new Executive Business Builder Designation Program.

Founder and Principal of Jenifer Bartman Business Advisory Services, the firm provides advisory and contract executive services to companies in the early, financing, growth, and transition stages of development. Service areas include business and succession planning, marketing and expansion strategy, financing readiness, financial analysis, and executive coaching.

An experienced senior executive, she held the broad based role of Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of ENSIS Management Inc., a venture capital fund manager, for over nine years. Prior to this role, Ms. Bartman worked as a management consultant, providing consulting and business advisory services to organizations across a wide range of industries.

Ryan Mallough

Ryan Mallough is the senior policy analyst, Ontario, with the Canadian Federation of Independent Business. Ryan has been with CFIB for three years, beginning in communications the national media writer before transitioning to the legislative and policy side of the organization. Ryan’s key files focus on Bill 148, energy, and the cannabis legalization framework. He has a bachelor’s in political science from the University of Ottawa and a master’s in journalism from Western University.

Walter, in utilizing his CBV expertise can assess opportunities for a business to enhance and grow its value. The Exit planning skills and experience assist in providing guidance and strategies for the eventual sale or transition of our clients’ businesses.

Evelyn Jacks, MFA, DFA-Tax Services Specialist

Evelyn JacksEvelyn is Canada’s most respected educator in tax and financial literacy and one of Canada’s most prolific financial authors. She has penned 52 best-selling books on tax preparation and tax efficient family wealth management. She was recently named one of the Top 25 Women of Influence in Canada for the second time.

Evelyn is also the Founder and President of Knowledge Bureau, Canada’s leading national post-secondary educational institute for continuing professional development in the tax and financial services.

Knowledge Bureau is the publisher of certificate courses leading to the prestigious MFA™ (Master Financial Advisor) designation, which provides core specialization opportunities in tax, retirement, business succession and estate planning for multi-disciplinary practices.

Evelyn has been influential in advising governments on tax and financial literacy policies. She was appointed by former Finance Minister Flaherty to the Federal Task Force on Financial Literacy, and by the Premier of Manitoba to the Lower Tax Commission, to advise on the direction of the provincial tax regime. Recently she has co-founded the Manitoba Financial Literacy Forum in partnership with the Manitoba Securities Commission, dedicated to increase financial literacy in that province.

She is also a well-known national commentator, keynote speaker and budget analyst who has written thousands of articles, most recently in MoneySense Magazine, the Toronto Star and for the Toronto Stock Exchange. She appears regularly on CBC Newsworld, CTV News, BNN and regional television and radio outlets.

Shawn O'Connor

Shawn has extensive experience with the Workplace Safety and Appeals Tribunal and he regularly advises insurers on Statutory Accident Benefits matters.
